PREWORK ASSIGNMENTS

Pre-work is required for all Bold North CCAR Online Training Programs. The pre-work serves as a basis for the discussion and activities that will be done in class. You will submit one journal assignment for each day of training.

  • Partial credit will not be awarded, and no CEUs will be awarded until all journal assignments have been submitted.

  • We will only allow and accept late journal assignments a week past the end of the training.

  • Please use the menu below to view and complete the required pre-work for the training you are attending.

Note: We recommend saving a copy of your pre-work in case of any submission errors.

Recovery Coaching and Professionalism

DAY ONE PREWORK

  • Review your manual, Learning Objectives and the Day One Agenda, and write down any questions for your facilitator (Page 6-7)

  • Complete the worksheet on page 9, Including a definition of Professionalism.

  • Complete the worksheet on pages 18-19, Etiquette.  Also, read the accompanying article on pages 42-43

  • Read COMMONSTRENGTH: BUILDING LEADERS, TRANSFORMING RECOVERY by Tom Hill

  • Read the article on Communication on pages 44-45.  Why do you think it is essential for Recovery Coaches to understand these modern communications do's and don'ts?

DAY TWO PREWORK

  • Please review the Day Two Agenda, and write down any questions for your facilitator.

  • Complete the "How Reliable Am I?" (Page 27)

  • Write a SMART Goal for improving this area (Page 29)

  • Complete the Organization Checklist (Pages 36-38)

  • Please read THE THREATS OF ANTI-PROFESSIONALISM AND PROFESSIONALISM By WILLIAM WHITE.
